Library 100th and 10th Anniversary Celebration, April 30, 2016

In recognition of the 100th anniversary of the Library's presence at the current location and the tenth anniversary since the 2006 reopening after reconstruction, the Library is having an all-day celebration on Saturday, April 30, 2016.

10:00 a.m. "Nappy's Puppets: Father Goose Tales", for kids. A Shadow Puppet Show featuring Puppeteer Jim Napolitano.

12:00 Noon. Ensemble Aubade: Chamber Music from 1916, for all ages. Peter H. Bloom, Flute; Francis Grimes, Viola; Mary Jane Rupert, Harp.

2:00 p.m. Alejandro's Olde Tyme Magik Show, for kids and adults, starring Magician Andrew Pinard.

3:15 p.m. Light refreshments.

All day: Art exhibit, book display, and a large 100th display with notes from patrons about why they love their library.

Free and open to the public.

Activities throughout the day are sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Library Foundation of Needham.
