Boston Jazz Voices is an 18-voice a cappella ensemble performing jazz standards, contemporary music and holiday programming. The ensemble specializes in sophisticated arrangements with unexpected harmonies and stylings, to transform familiar tunes into something new. The singers come from all over the greater Boston area (two are from Needham), and are directed by Tsunenori "Lee" Abe, a professor at the Berklee College of Music.
(Note that this program begins at 2:30 p.m. instead of the usual 2:00 p.m., and that the change to Daylight Saving Time is scheduled to occur early on the same day.)
