She will discuss her personal history and creative process, and how they are reflected in her latest best-selling novel, The Stationery Shop.

This free program will be presented by the Friends of the Needham Public Library in the library's Community Room at 1139 Highland Avenue, Needham, from 2-3:30 PM, Sunday, Nov. 6. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions following the presentation.

Kamali, a resident of Lexington, is also the author of the novel Together Tea.

Born in Turkey to Iranian parents, and having lived in many countries before settling in Massachusetts, she will share her writing journey and discuss the challenge of staying motivated to be creative even in uncertain times.

The program is free and open to the public, but seats are limited and registration is required. Please register here.
